Healing Guide
A quick guide to healing Pokémon using items and some moves.
Note that L is used to represent the Pokémon's level.
Potions
Potion
A Potion heals HP equal to L × 20.
Super Potion
A Super Potion heals HP equal to L × 50.
Hyper Potion
If the Pokémon is under level 10, a Hyper Potion heals all of the Pokémon's HP. If the Pokémon is level 10 or over, it heals HP equal to L × 80.
Max Potion
If the Pokémon is under level 10, a Max Potion heals all of the Pokémon's HP and halves the damage taken from the next attack. If the Pokémon is level 10 or over, it heals all of the Pokémon's HP.
Berries
Oran Berry
An Oran Berry heals HP equal to L × 10.
Sitrus Berry
A Sitrus Berry heals HP equal to L × 45.
Drinks
Fresh Water
A Fresh Water heals HP equal to L × 40.
Soda Pop
A Soda Pop heals HP equal to the L × 60.
Lemonade
A Lemonade heals HP equal to L × 75.
Moves
Recover, Slack Off, Roost, Milk Drink, Softboiled, Heal Order
Using any of these moves recovers all of the Pokmon's health if it is less than Level 20, but if the level is higher, then it recovers half of the Pokmon's maximum HP.
Rest
Rests heals all HP but the user will be asleep for the next 2 turns. Sleep can be auto-cancelled if the user is holding a Chesto Berry.
Absorb
Absorb heals 1/5 of the damage dealt. If you do 200 damage then you get 40 HP back.
Mega Drain
Mega Drain heals 1/4 of the damage dealt. If you do 200 damage then you get 50 HP back.
Giga Drain and Drain Punch
Giga Drain and Drain Punch heal 1/2 of the damage dealt. If you do 200 damage then you get 100 HP back.
Moonlight
Follow the rules for Recover under no weather. There is no change under Rain Dance or Hail. Under Sandstorm, reduce the HP healed by half. Under Sunny Day, reduce the HP healed to 25%. Under fogand Shadow Sky, the move restores all HP.
Morning Sun
Follow the rules for Recover under no weather. There is no change under Rain Dance or Hail. Under fog, reduce the HP healed by half.Under Shadow Sky, reduce the HP healed to 25%. Under Sunny Day, the move restores all HP.
Synthesis
Follow the rules for Recover under no weather. Under Shadow Sky, Synthesis will do nothing. Under fog, Synthesis will heal 20%. Under Sandstorm, Hail, or Rain Dance, Synthesis will heal 25%. Under Sunny Day, Synthesis will heal 70%.
Swallow
If Stockpile was not used, then Swallow does nothing. If Stockpile was used once, then Swallow heals 25%. If Stockpile was used twice, then Swallow heals 50%. If Stockpile was used 3 times, then Swallow heals full HP.
Aqua Ring, Ingrain
Heals 1/16 HP at the end of every turn. Under Sunny Day, Ingrain heals 1/12. Under Rain Dance, Aqua Ring heals 1/12.
Wish
Heals 50% HP at the end of the turn after Wish is used.
Leech Seed
The seeded Pokémon loses L × 10 HP every turn. The seeder gains HP equal to the amount lost by the seeded Pokémon. NOTE: Leech Seed also affects Toxic. If the seeded Pokémon is also affected by Toxic, then Toxic gains 2 "levels" every turn.
