Race for the Eon Shards

Welcome to Sinnoh Now.
We have breaking news; two dragon-like Pokémon known as Latias and Latios have been spotted in the sky recently. They have been looking for an item. Sources say one is looking for a Red Orb and the other is looking for a Blue Orb.

A Pokémon Researcher has told us:

The two Pokémon will not approach any trainers unless they obtain an orb of the same color of one of the Pokémon. Sadly, someone broke both of the orbs. Each broke into ten pieces and they are now scattered around Sinnoh after his Pokémon put them in random places. There is only one Blue Orb and only one Red Orb...

So, a local battle referee decided that if someone gathers let's say, six pieces of the orb and someone has four, they will battle. The winner will get all the pieces and will be able to combine them into one single orb. The person will be able to go to Eon Island and fight one of the two Latis... but the island is hidden for those who do not possess an orb.

Anyone who is able to locate the orbs will be given a letter later today with a "tracker" thanks to some scientists. They can locate the pieces for other people. (AKA, the randomizer will be sent to Karasu and Flamewire later today)

To clarify on the battle for the shards:

Once all 10 shards of one Orb are found, everyone who has one or more of those shards will come forward.

They will be set to battle each other in a randomized tournament. The loser of every battle will give up all of their shards to the winner.

Once an Orb is completed its owner will be transported to Eon Island to battle their respective twin.

A separate board will be made at the top of Route 201, public to everyone. Everything else will be explained there.

All 10 Red Orb Shards have been located.

Once the same is true for the Blue Orb those who have one or more Shards will come forward for the Sinnoh Orb Tournament.
