There's a news fader up there for a reason. Occasionally important messages will display in the fading sequence, and it may not be good for you if you miss it.
For example, right now there's a reminder about the Regi event, as well as an encouragement message for Flame.
Watch the cycle once in a while and you'll see if we added anything else you might need to know.

Change "3 gyms shut down" to "5 gyms" because 6 and 7 are, for all practical purposes, shut down due to my battles with the E4.
