I've decided to recheck the type situation to see who isn't represented.
The bolded area is the one where they are most prominent. If none are bolded then they have no true "home" area.
Normal - Mt. Moon, Future area(s) of Time Capsule
Fire - Stark Mountain
Water - Belue Ocean
Electric - Future area of Time Capsule, Tall Grass
Grass - Tall Grass
Ice - Snowy Mountain, Belue Ocean
Fighting - Rockfall Canyon, Future area of Time Capsule
Poison - Stark Mountain
Ground - Sandstorm Desert, Rockfall Canyon, Future area(s) of Time Capsule
Flying - Tall Grass, Rockfall Canyon
Psychic - Old Chateau
Bug - Tall Grass
Rock - Rockfall Canyon, Sandstorm Desert, Future area(s) of Time Capsule, Stark Mountain, Snowy Mountain
Ghost - Old Chateau
Dragon - Legendary Cave, Future area of Time Capsule
Dark - Old Chateau
Steel - Sandstorm Desert, Rockfall Canyon, Future area(s) of Time Capsule
This leaves us with Normal completely unrepresented, and Electric, Fighting, Poison, and Flying somewhat unrepresented.
Psychic and Dark are semi-somewhat-unrepresented; the Old Chateau was designed to include them, but they are still a minor presence compared to Ghosts.
Also, Dragon is a special issue; at the moment, they are restricted to Legendary Cave except in special cases like Vibrava, but they will get an area entirely their own in a future release for the Time Capsule.
Technically Normal isn't entirely unrepresented; they have Mt. Moon, but that only covers one line.
And Rock is over-represented. There are currently 4 areas that Rock-types call home, and will get at least one more in the Time Capsule. This will bring the total to no less than three major Rock-type home areas.
Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?
