After being hidden for too long, the Hitmon Gems have finally been revealed!
Item images are currently being made.
The Kick Gem evolves Tyrogue into Hitmonlee. The Punch Gem evolves Tyrogue into Hitmonchan. The Spin Gem evolves Tyrogue into Hitmontop.
And there's also a fourth, extremely rare gem...
The Power Gem.
Named for the Rock-type move, it multiplies the move's power by 1.1 and adds Rock to the user's type for the entire duration of holding the gem.
That means that for non-Rock users like Vespiquen, it will be a triple-type Bug/Flying/Rock, get a STAB bonus on Power Gem, AND another 10% bonus on the move's power.
The item can only be given to a Pokmon that already knows the move. If they ever unlearn Power Gem, the item will automatically detatch and go back into your Inventory.
The Hitmon Gems are semi-rare items in the Dig Site. There is also a very small chance of finding one of them in the Sugar Mine.
The Power Gem is extremely rare in all areas it appears in. First, and most logical, it has a small chance of appearing in the Dig Site. It also has an extremely small chance of coming up from a dig in the Sugar Mine. Finally, it can also appear in Rockfall Canyon.
The Power Gem will only show itself in the Canyon if a Vespiquen comes up on the randomizer. Instead of a battle, you will have found the gem.s

What event are you talking about? I never announced a new event...
And I'll be editing the dig guide randomizer things.
