I would like to challenge SomeoneF, Leader of the Nature Gym!
(Guess I'll just wing it even without a fire type.)
Pokémon I'll be using: Shaymin level 17, Jolt(Jolteon) Level 17, Pupitar level 17.
(All my Pokémon booted down to level 17 for this fight. See all my high level Pokémon are pretty weak to grass. But I'll try anyway. No shame in losing.)

Ah ha, my very first challenger.
Welcome to the Nature Gym, Kairi. I'm probably suppose to say some other lines exclusive to my gym, but oh well. I was never familiar with nature anyway (in a way...).
The Pokmon i will be using are level 14 scyther, level 16 charmeleon, and level 14 bayleef.
This battle will be tough in the sense that all your other gym battles will not be as tough as this one. Just because i'm that cruel. Plan out your strategy well. You will be allowed to use items, which *should* make your battle easier.

If i forgot to mention, usually whoever goes first is determined by their speed. And in tsr we mostly use the base stats of Pokmon to judge speed. Sorry if you previously didnt know that? Well, my charmeleon's speed is 2x it's original speed from 2 dragon dances. Source: www.smogon.com/dp/articles/stats#stagemodsJolteon's base speed is 130 Charmeleon's base speed is 80. Charmeleon with 2 dragon dances has speed of 140. 140>130 Jolteon is 1 level higher than charmeleon. I doubt 1 level higher nets you 10+ base speed. Therefore Charmeleon is faster. |

Dragon dance raises your attack stat by 1. I used 2 dragon dances, so charmeleon's attack power doubles (just like speed). So charmeleon will have a base attack stat of 128. Jolteon's defense is only 60. I think 700 is appropiate since 350 wouldve been the damage without the 2 dragon dances.
Wait till you get to Karasu's gym. An attack 4x super effective to the opponent only does like 500 damage out of 4000 rather than 2000.
