The Sinnoh region has 8 top Trainers who are regarded as officials throughout the region. They are the 8 Gym Leaders.
Every Trainer's goal is to defeat them all. Trainers may challenge the 8 Gyms at any time. The one requirement is that they must challenge the Gyms in order. For example, you can't go from the First to the Sixth, and then back to the Third.

Once you have defeated a Gym Leader, you will be given the right to display that Gym's Badge in your signature as proof of your victory. Anyone caught with badges they did not earn will get a warning.
Post this to challenge a Gym:
Then list the Pokémon you will be challenging with.
Every Gym Leader has a set team they must use in every Gym battle. You will be able to find their team above.
If a Pokémon is defeated in battle, the opponent will get EXP. If the Gym Leader loses a Pokmon, the challenger gets EXP, and if a challenger's Pokémon faints, the Leader will get EXP.
Gym Leaders may also take the Gym Challenge.
Due to the level cap, any Pokémon above that cap will be temporarily reduced to be equal to the cap. Any experience they gain in this state is kept.
Note to both Leaders and challengers: When sending out a Pokémon, always make sure to post their level.
(Z made every one of the badges' original images. Stf9 recolored one of Z's badges to produce the Ice Shot Badge. Z later fixed it up and made all of the badges transparent.)
